Temecula Valley Spotlight

Temecula, CA Community

Get ready to have your socks knocked off by the Freak Show Circus Halloween Extravaganza, coming to Temecula Valley from October 25-31, 2024! This spine-tingling event is set to be the talk of the town and a must-see addition to our Halloween Guide 2024.

Step Right Up to the Freakiest Show in Town

Located at 28656 Old Town Front St, Temecula, CA 92590, this hair-raising spectacle will transform the heart of Old Town Temecula into a carnival of the bizarre and the terrifying. For seven nights, brave souls can test their mettle against a lineup of acts that will make their skin crawl and their hearts race.

A Circus Like No Other

Forget everything you think you know about circuses. The Freak Show Circus Halloween Extravaganza isn't your average big top affair. Here, the clowns don't just wear makeup – they wear nightmares. The acrobats don't just fly through the air – they seem to defy the laws of physics and sanity.

Sideshow Sensations
Prepare to be amazed (and maybe a little grossed out) by:

  • The Human Pincushion
  • The Elastic Woman
  • The Fire-Breathing Dwarf
  • The Two-Headed Snake Charmer

Creepy Carnival Games
Try your luck at games that will test your nerves as much as your skill:

  • Zombie Duck Shoot
  • Werewolf Ring Toss
  • Vampire Balloon Pop

Frightful Food and Bone-Chilling Beverages

What's a circus without some snacks? But be warned – these treats aren't for the faint of heart.

Gruesome Grub

  • Bloody Candy Apples
  • Mummy Dogs
  • Witch's Fingers Cookies

Spooky Sips

  • Zombie Brain Punch
  • Vampire's Kiss Cocktail (for the 21+ crowd)
  • Witch's Brew Hot Chocolate

Not Just for the Grown-Ups

While the Freak Show Circus Halloween Extravaganza cranks up the scare factor at night, they haven't forgotten about the little monsters.

Family-Friendly Frights (October 26-27, 12 PM - 5 PM)

  • Face Painting (think mini monsters, not butterflies)
  • Pumpkin Decorating Contest
  • Not-So-Scary Story Time with the Bearded Lady

Costume Contest Extraordinaire

On October 31st, the Extravaganza will host the ultimate Halloween costume contest. Categories include:

  • Most Terrifying
  • Best Circus Freak
  • Most Creative Couple
  • Little Monsters (for kids under 12)

The grand prize? A year's supply of courage... and a pretty sweet gift basket from local Temecula Valley wineries.

More Than Just a Show

The Freak Show Circus Halloween Extravaganza isn't just about scares and laughs. It's a celebration of the weird, the wonderful, and the downright freaky. It's a chance for everyone to embrace their inner oddball and let their freak flag fly.

Getting There

If you're not already in Temecula, don't worry! The Extravaganza is worth the trip. Here's how far it is from nearby cities:

  • San Diego: About 60 miles north
  • Los Angeles: Roughly 85 miles southeast
  • Palm Springs: Approximately 85 miles northwest

Tickets and Times

The freaky fun kicks off each night at 7 PM and runs until the witching hour (that's midnight for you non-spooky folks). Tickets are available online or at the door, but fair warning – this event is known to sell out faster than a vampire runs from garlic.

General Admission: $25
VIP Freak Pass: $50 (includes front-of-line access, a complimentary Spooky Sip, and a meet-and-greet with the performers)

A Word of Caution

While the Freak Show Circus Halloween Extravaganza is all in good fun, it might be a bit much for the very young or easily scared. If you faint at the sight of fake blood or run screaming from people in masks, you might want to stick to the family-friendly daytime events.

The Grand Finale

As the clock strikes midnight on Halloween night, the Freak Show Circus Halloween Extravaganza will literally go out with a bang. Expect a fireworks display to light up the Temecula Valley sky and send shivers down your spine.

So, are you brave enough to join the freaks? The Freak Show Circus Halloween Extravaganza awaits you in its twisted family. Just remember – what you see here, what you do here, what you hear here, let it stay here... if you dare.
